River Skiing on the North Shore of Lake Superior
Minnesota's North Shore rivers and streams are great to ski if they are froze solidly.

Great river skiing can be found at Knife, Gooseberry and Baptism Rivers.
More difficult skiing can be found  on the Lester, Amity, Schmidt,
French, Sucker, upper Cascade and the Brule River. Confident river skiers will be
challenged by skiing the Beaver, Manitou, Two Island, Onion,
Devil Track and Brule Rivers. Be aware of deep water beneath falls and
always ski with a friend!
